On 4th of September PCL celebrated 135 year Ferdinand Porsche birthday and visited Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant.
INPP Unit1 was shut down at the end of December of 2004. Following the resolutions taken by the Government INPP Unit 2 was shut down on 31 December 2009. During the 26 years of operation Ignalina NPP has produced 307,9 billion kWh of electricity: Unit 1 - 136,9 billion kWh and Unit 2 - 170,2 billion kWh.
